My name is Caelynn Margaret Harper. I write stories, read the tarot, hoard books, create and play games, and love to cook delicious food. I love to create as much as I can.
I am also the author of Limerence, Love Bombs, and Loneliness, a book about learning to love myself as a queer, trans, and autistic woman. It is a collection of my pain, trauma, love, grieving, joy, healing, unlearning hatred and control and manipulative behaviors, and heartache through poetry and reflection.
I live in Madison, Wisconsin, spending time with my friends, family, cat, and writing prose and poetry.
I am not an expert in love. I have fumbled through friendships, relationships, terrible dates, and fallout. What I didn’t know was that fumbling through all of that pain and loss and sorrow, I would find a new sense of myself and the universe.
I began writing poetry and reflecting on everything and didn’t stop until I had an idea—to write a book about it, so that people like me didn’t feel so alone in the pain they experienced for having the audacity to not be what we’re told we must be, and wouldn’t direct that pain outwards and harm others.
Don’t look to my book for advice on love—you won’t find it. What you may find, is the inspiration to fall in love with yourself again.
